Transforming a cubby house within a house?
I would like to transform a wooden house in a chook shed Cubby. The Cubby has two open windows, roof metal and wooden flooring. It is about a meter deep, 1.7 m wide and 1.85 m high. The chickens are free range during the day. I do not involve children with my husband so that the beautiful easier the better! Thank you very much for any advice. I recently responded to two questions COOP, and do not use metric, but I get a meter is approx. 44 inches. Also not at all Chook familiar with as a slang term perhaps? Chickens in any quantity would be very cramped in this space. One Chicken nesting or resting area must have themselves at least 1.5 CU. FT. and enough space to move in a henhouse, and perches, ventilation, easy access. While the coop could comfortably accommodate three adult chickens, or maybe a supplement of Bantam, but more would be pushing it. Steven Wolf Just my 2 "sense"
